📱 Why you should download and use the Ubisoft Club smartphne application

A couple of hours ago, Ubisoft published on Ubisoft North America Youtube account a video that explains the advantages of using the Ubisoft Club app when playing Rainbow Six Siege, one of the top Ubisoft title. I am using this app quite often, it’s very helpful, easy to use, and it worths the time.

Basically, the video is about having all info of R6S in the same place, info regarding the challenges (classic or weekly), the rewards that you can buy with the coins that you will get after you complete them, tips from SAM – a gaming assistant -, and the social part, the possibility to benchmark with your Ubisoft friends.

But this is not necessarily all of it.

All Ubisoft games are there

The biggest advantage of the app is that you will have all the Ubisoft games there. You can use the Club’s coins cross-games, and you will receive a notification every time you start playing a Ubisoft game, an action that activates SAM who will brief you with your in-game progress, but also with tips and tricks about how to progress faster.

SAM is awesome. 🙂

It helps in getting some trophies

I can add that you can use the app also for tracking some trophies. Search for the game on PsnProfile, compare the trophies with the classic challenges and identify the ones that have similar descriptions. This is the only way to track them using the Ubisoft Club app.

Take also into consideration that some of the challenges might be part of a trophy. Ideally, the trophies could also be found in the Ubisoft Club application, and also a statistics tracking (for not using un-official apps), but this is another article to write.

What do you think?

🎥 Movies: Ready Player One

Well, it’s not an article about PlayStation games, but it is somehow related and it’s Sunday. Ready Player One is a 2018 movie, about life when technology evolves and virtual reality becomes, well, the reality. It’s a Steven Spielberg movie that follows the story of a young man who wants to find, as the entire world anyway, an Easter Egg in a virtual world called OASIS – something like Facebook in about 10 to 15 years.

When the owner died, he gave all his fortune and, of course, the control of OASIS to the first person that will find an Easter Egg inside the OASIS. As clues, he left all his writings, videos, and memories in a big library. You will find also some romance, a little bit of drama, but in the end, the movie is raising some questions and thoughts regarding the real near future.

Are we prepared to lose most of the human connections for virtual ones? Don’t forget that we are living in a world in which people are more interested in a plug for their smartphone charger than anything else. Even the feelings of the other people they are living with.

Here is the trailer.

Have you seen the movie?

🎥 History of Assassin’s Creed (2007 – 2018)

I have solved one of these “problems“, a friend of mine just gave me Assassin’s Creed® Odyssey tonight, but also Far Cry New Dawn, a game that I also want to take it till the platinum trophy, FarCry 5 being one of the coolest games I have ever played and also finished (review in progress).

This being told, this week #HistoryOf will give us Assassin’s Creed.

Have a great evening!

🚀 Are you ready for « Call of Duty: Modern Warfare beta » (long) week-ends?

I have played Alpha 2v2, and it was amazing because I reunited with Jacob (my Irish friend :-D) in a 2h killing spree, so Beta is for sure next in line. If you do not know yet, SIE announced 2 weekends for testing the upcoming game, and also the fact that all PlayStation 4 owners will be able to play the beta for free.

The schedule is like this:
12th-13th September – only preorders
14th-16th September – all PS4 owners
19th-23th September – all PS4 owners

More details here. Please note that a PlayStation Plus membership is required. Just open the store from your PS, it will appear all over your screen. I was unable to download it (they say I already have it), but I think it is like this because of the Alpha. I will let you know.

Until then…

Wildlands, it was a nice journey. Thanks!

Today, I took my final trophy of Ghost Recon Wildlands, 🏆 Only the Best – Bought all upgrades, a silver trophy that brought me the platinum one: 🏆 Master of the Wildlands. Hold your horses, the idea was to finish the game in order to get all the rewards for Breakpoint on this account (I have bought and finished the game + DLCs on another account), but after the BETA I gave up on Breakpoint, and get a refund.

So I change my mind and decided to only take the platinum trophy and end my Ghost Recon journey, at least for a period of time. It was incredibly fun, the PVP was amazing – and I have met incredible people around the world, but it’s time to move on. So I ended my Wildlands story in Espiritu Santo, near the border with Monte Puncu, in a helicopter, looking at the cities around me.

Awesome. 🙂

And here are all the bosses I have eliminated down the road. 🙂

End of the game note: If you are a trophy hunter also, prepare yourself. You will need a lot of patience, and you will need to love flying helicopters, as there are a couple of trophies with collectibles, and you will spend 3-4 days to get them all. In a freaking helicopter, or spawning across the open world. 🙂

🏆 The Whole Story 🏆 Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands

There are around 200 documents in Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands that you will need to collect if you wanna go for 🏆The Whole Story trophy. That means you will spend time to search the entire open world for CDs, briefcases, phones, files, voodoo things, etc.

Now, just multiply by 5 minutes per document and you will want to kill someone. In real life. 🙂 Or you need to start playing as you will see in the video. No, I am not a god (yet) in this game, it happened only once, but it’s fun. 😀

Have you seen the Ghost Recon Breakpoint statistics tracking on Ubisoft Club mobile app?

As you already know, Ghost Recon Breakpoint BETA was launched this weekend, and those who preordered the game, but also, I think, all of those tho played at least Ghost War, Wildlands’ PVP, enjoyed a couple of days in Auroa, the new destination for a new Ghost Recon military adventure.

Being on the last meters of my Wildlands trophy hunting race (I need to do all the upgrades and I will take the platinum trophy), I am a daily user of Ubisoft Club mobile application and I was curious about the statistics I will need to follow when I will buy the game. And as far as I understand, Breakpoint is very similar to Wildlands when it comes to tracking in-game statistics.

Here are some screenshots for those who don’t use the app (available on AppStore, but also on PlayStore). See it for yourself, and drop a comment if you see things and wanna share with any of us! 🙂

💶 Here are the best-selling games on PlayStation Store for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR in August

If you are in search of a popular game of the moment that you can play in single-player mode, battle royale, co-op in open worlds, or PVP with friends, here are the most downloaded games on PlayStation 4, and VR!, in August 2019. The lists published by SIE contain also a DLC top (Downloadable Content), and a F2P list (Free To Play).

Plenty of games to choose from!

Grand Theft Auto V was the most downloaded game on PlayStation Store in August, making it the second month in a row that Rockstar’s crime opus topped the digital charts.

It’s an achievement shared by Blood & Truth, as London Studio’s action blockbuster retained its number one position on the PS VR charts. Elsewhere, Fortnite took top billing across both the free-to-play and DLC charts.
